Medline’s Advanced SMS Ophthalmic Drape is a sterile full incise film recommended for use during cataract and vitreoretinal surgical procedures. It measures 122 x 129.5 cm, with a 13 x 11.5 cm fenestration, and an integrated ophthalmic pouch measuring 31 x 28 cm.
Our SMS fabric offers high barrier strength and repellent properties as it is composed of five strong fibre layers. Made of 100 per cent polypropylene, SMS drapes are soft and drapeable. In addition, the latest generation of SMS technology drapes has low-linting properties, which reduce the risk of cross-contamination, and a uniformed fibre lay-down for consistent performance.
