SorbaView® Ultimate Securement Dressing

Medline’s SorbaView® Ultimate Securement Dressing offers a highly permeable, transparent film dressing available in three dimensions and is recommended for use during PICC, implanted port, subclavian, jugular, femoral and driveline procedures.

This film dressing has an innovative multi-layer construction:

First, it helps prevent moisture build-up by way of an absorbent and non-adherent pad that wicks moisture away from the skin and into a fibrous pad, which continues to breathe through the upper film and film/fabric layers. This highly absorbent pad material is fenestrated to form a ‘window’ in the dressing.

Second, thanks to the polyurethane film membrane, the dressing offers a strong protective barrier against external contaminants and liquids. In addition, the film is ideally suited for use in the care of intravenous catheter sites, as it is made of a clear material. And to strengthen the dressing, an adhesive non-woven fabric layer on top completes the dressing.

SorbaView Ultimate Securement Dressing can be worn for up to seven days because it continuously prevents the build-up of moisture from under the dressing.
