Ultrasorbs AP Breathable Drypad

From €0,0000

Medline’s Ultrasorbs AP Breathable Drypad provides air-permeable and disposable sheet for effective moisture management. These sheets are ideal for patients in the ICU, who are continuously exposed to excessive moisture. Each drypad helps prevent moisture-associated skin damage (MASD), even in the most challenging care setting.

Our heavy-absorbency drypads facilitate fluid absorption by incorporating an extra-wide absorbent layer and a super-absorbent core sheet, thereby keeping skin dry. Additionally, this breathable drypad helps enhance patient comfort by way of high-performing, super-absorbent polymers that lock in wetness and odour. It can be used with a variety of mattresses and bed configurations, particularly in wards of high-dependency, like the ICU.

Designed with our customers and their patients in mind, Ultrasorbs provide extensive benefits to both patients and caregivers. For patients, each disposable underpad:
  • Reduces the risk of separating, bunching or clinging to the skin when wet; feels dry to the touch within minutes
  • Reduces friction and shear while maintaining its core integrity
  • Provides greater comfort, as a result of an ultra-soft, non-woven top sheet
  • Facilitates exceptional skin dryness with zero strikethrough, thereby helping to reduce heat build-up and maintain an optimal micro-environment via an air-permeable back sheet.

    Meanwhile, for caregiver benefits include:
  • Protection against leakage, resulting in fewer linen changes without multiple layering or double-padding, made possible by Micro-pore AquaShield film
  • Help with preventing fluid overflow, through exclusive fold-over edges
  • Compatibility with low-air-loss mattresses
  • Three size options: 25 x 40 cm, 45 x 61 cm and 58.4 x 90 cm.

Medline’s Ultrasorbs AP Breathable Drypad is part of our skin protection and MASD prevention portfolio, which combines categories of products that help healthcare staff with monitoring patients’ skin.
