Charitable Giving

Medline’s mission to improve the quality of people’s lives is not limited to the communities in which we live and do business, but also extends to communities further away in developing countries.

  • Our local donation committees identify and support local charitable causes in Europe.
  • Our partnership with International Health Partners facilitates product donations to developing countries.

We do what we can, recognising that seemingly small contributions can make a world of difference.

Community Engagement

Medline has an on-the-ground presence in several European countries. Interacting with and supporting the communities in which we operate is the right thing to do.

Our local donation committees represent employees across our various European sites. The mandate of the committees is to use their local knowledge to identify charitable causes that will benefit their respective communities.

Causes that we have supported to date include disaster relief in Italy following the 2016 earthquakes and an organisation in Slovakia that promotes healthy and active lifestyles for youth and children.

Product Donations

Medline believes that access to reliable, affordable and high quality healthcare services should be attainable for every community.

We provide life-saving medical supplies to healthcare facilities in need around the world through our partnership with International Health Partners (IHP).

Based in the United Kingdom, IHP is a registered charity that acts as an intermediary between healthcare companies and aid agencies. In collaboration with IHP, Medline has donated more than 20 tonnes of supplies to help communities in countries such as Iraq, Guatemala and Haiti.

Personal Involvement: Medical Service Trips

Medline provides its employee with the opportunity to go on a medical service trip with our partners in order to contribute to humanitarian missions in developing countries. Employees are also welcome to seek out their own opportunity.

‘The work this organisation does is amazing. They really save lives. The doctors and nurses give up their holidays and often pay for their own travel. I am not a clinician, but I am so happy to have the chance to contribute'.

Emily Janke,
