OUR APPROACH
Adopting a people-and-planet approach to product development
Many hospitals are seeking new and innovative ways to shrink their environmental footprint. We design products, programmes and packaging that maximize the societal benefits, while limiting the potential negative environmental impact.

Sustainable products, programmes and packaging
You won’t know unless you measure it...
Key to our product development is understanding their potential environmental impact. Therefore, for key product lines, we undertake life cycle assessments (LCAs) for the complete lifecycle of a product (cradle to grave), to enable us to identify focus areas for environmental improvement. These assessments are proving to have meaningful impact that helps our customers in the healthcare sector prioritise sustainability. We are working towards increasing the number of products covered by an LCA, to provide measurable carbon savings across our portfolio.
